Huh?
This is cute little Gilbert, or Bobert, as he refers to himself. He has just started talking a lot. My favorites are "some, some, " when he wants some of whatever food you have. Also a favorite, "unguckle me!" Said very emphatically when he want to be released from whatever device is constraining him (high chair, carseat, stroller, etc). He loves fruit and vegetables. We call him our little hobbit, because when he is fed and rested, and especially fed, he is happy. That said, between hitting two and gaining a baby sister, he is in a bit of a rough patch. One where he likes to scream and hang on me for hours. Not kidding. He's also become rather fond of hitting\scratching his poor baby sister. I know happy good natured Gilbert is under there somewhere though. He also likes to get into things, but only sometimes. Unlike Ashton, who really never stopped (and still doesn't). also, if you put a barrier on something, he doesn't try to undo it. There was nothing childproof that could keep Ash out. He once unlocked a door with a piece of straw. Gilbert loves to push things around. He has a lawn mower, and his favorite toy in nursery is a vacuum. He likes to cook and play with his baby doll. He loves dogs and things that roar. In fact, when we look at animal books, I discover that rather than mooing, cows roar. He also does really cute little kid dancing. I need to get a video. I have fun with Gilby, and hope he gets over his terrible two thing quickly.
